Ahh dear I'm sorry.
I'm aware that I haven't posted here for a while, and I don't really have any excuse other than I've been busy with School and with Modern Slackers.

Still, you've heard all of that before and all I'll say on the matter is that I'll try and update more.

Anyyyyway,

The MS site is coming along well.
Been trying to join a webcomic collective but not having any joy so far.

I suppose we need more strips up anyway before we can get into that sort of thing.

NEVER MINDD.

Also, we added a MS Scrapbook page so we can update that with random assortment of arts whenever we feel like it. Although it's ALWAYS updated wednesdays!

Ah well,
I'll try and find something better to talk about next time I post.

Hello all,

Well, it's not been a very interesting week, but still slightly busy which is why I haven't posted in a while.

Anyway, first off, I'm Annoyed.

The short story I've been writing was RUINED last night due to Heroes.

I won't post any spoiler, due to fear or 300 fat nerd fanboys sitting on me, but I will say that the story originated when I was thinking of an explanation as to why the characters in 'Heroes' have superpowers.
So I got right to the end, and after watching last nights episode of 'Heroes', turns out I was pretty close.

So now when I post it, it's more than likely going to be slated for fanfiction, though I SWEAR TO YODA IT'S NOT.

Ah well, 'Great Minds Think Alike'?

On another note, I bought Soul Calibur last saturday!

Helllzzz, yeah!

It's a brilliant fighting game in my opinion, though story mode is short and the apprentice is really overpowered.

Still, good game, backstory's, and gameplay.

Also, as far as 'Modern Slackers' goes, we're having a few problems with a spam bot right now, that we're trying to get rid of.

Last time I checked there was 376 comments of porn.

Thats too much porn for one man to handle alone.

Ahhh.

It's going to be a long, breast-filled night fixing that one...

Haven't updated for a while so I will now.

First off, I've started sixth form college now taking Theatre Studies, Media Studies, English Literature and Single Applied ICT.

Fun stuff, I know.

It's not too bad but I dislike ICT with a passion, not only is it the most boring and tedious lesson in my timetable but the course started off with how many people fail as a way to reduce the number of people taking it.

They haven't really sold it to me, but now it's a matter of princible.

I will win.

In other news, I've finnaly found some extra money and went to see 'The Dark Knight' with a couple of friends.

It was well worth the money but I couldn't help but feel that for an action film there wasn't that much, well, action.

It was more things blowing up in intricate manners and fight scenes that you couldn't really see clear enough.

Still, Heath Leger DID play his part brilliantly although I'm annoyed there won't (or shouldn't) be a film with him in for a while due to his death.

Nevermind, worth the watch, go see it.

Also, I'm ridiculously excited for 'Watchmen'.

Oh boy, Oh boy, Oh boy, Oh boy.

Ok, I am very aware that I haven't posted anything in a while, but in my defence I've been a wee bit busy.

Let's see,

Got my GCSE Results, didn't do as bad as I thought so I was in a good mood

Also, went for an interview, got into the sixth form college to do my A Levels which are as follows:-

Theatre Studies
Media Studies
English Literature
Single Applied ICT

Sound fun eh?

Aside from that, I've been shopping for all my school gear which mainly includes clothes and thus working like a slave for money.

I am so very tired.

And my last excuse is that because I now own a new BRILLIANT computer, I've had to get some stuff accross which has taken a while and I've lost a fair few files, etc.

Anyways, on the short story front, I lack and ending.

Turns out the theory it's based on is a myth, making me a very angry man as I was at the very end of it anyway.

Im determined to finish it though and it will get done, I'll notify you all once it is

Good news,
The Modern Slackers site is up and running, bearing in mind it's early days there's still a few kinks in the system but we should have that worked out shortly.

In other news, I'm working all week this week so I'm not sure how much writing I'm going to get done. At the very least I should be doing some more of the story tonight and I'll do my best to get some done on a night after work.

The reason it's so rough is mainly because I'm working 9 to 5 (what a way to make a livin'), then when I get back I have to do my workout so if Deadpool challenges me to a showdown, I can win and take his title and then I have to churn out some story.

Anyway, once the stories done I can get on to other things. But I hope you lot appreciate how busy I am.

Hello all,

Just a quick update as I'm completly knackered.

My deviant art page is up, you can find that here. However, my story isn't up as I haven't had a chance to do much writing as of the hefty amount of work I have going on at the minute, and the fact I get my GCSE results on Thursday.

And on the Modern Slackers front, we're having a few, technical difficulties at the minute but the proper site should be up shortly.

Also, Mapping is a bitch.

Progress At Last!

Guess you lot haven't heard from me in a while, eh?
Well, there's reason for that, and it is that I have had little or no news to report and with the mad amount of work I've been doing I haven't had time for a rant either.

Anyways, I'm rather tired this evening so this shouldn't be one of my longer posts, just an update.

I've started up my Deviant Art account, but I'm not setting up a link to my profile yet as there's nothing on it.

I'm drawing to a close in my short story, and although I could have sat on here for hours and rushes it so it would be up on time, I didn't because I know my writing would suffer and I wouldn't be happy with my final piece.
So instead, you'll have to hold out a few more days until it's done. If it isn't done by tommorow on there, I should at least have a poem or something up to compensate and I'll post a link on this blog later on today (or tommorow at the rate I update).

Anyway, I have much better news that should keep you all happy in the meantime.
Modern Slackers should be up tommorow!

My web tech promises me that by tommorow the Modern Slackers website SHOULD be up and running. If it isn't, I'll be sure to post a picture of him in Dart board form for you all to save, print and enjoy!

In other news, I'm at work Thursday, Friday and Saturday so I should FINNALY have some money to do/buy something productive.

I'm thinking about saving up for a Drawing Tablet of my own, however the new Batman film is out and Heath Ledger calls to me in the night.
Still, might not get much done in the way of creativity this week so I'll try and get as much done as I can tommorow(today).

Another Day, Another...Pound?

Evening! Or Morning, whichever you prefer.

As is custom, it's early on a saturday morning and I've yet to have slept as I write this post.

First off, no. I haven't finished my story yet(or even named it for that matter) but it's coming along relativley well and should be finished by saturday or sunday or at the very, very latest monday which means that you lot will have to wait until then to become linked to my new Deviant Art.

In a way, I'm excited to finish this story. Not because it's become boring or a pain in the arse to write. Just so I know it's finished and I'm happy with it AND so I can move on to my other creative projects, which I'm quite excited about.

Anyways, on the Modern Slacker front our artist, Glen, is going away to his Grannies this week so we will have to live with the pro's and con's.
The Pro's are that he'll be drawing out THREE new Modern Slacker comics (Not that it should matter to you lot, we're updating them slower than we make them so we'll be far ahead of you) and he's going to be sketching out some stuff which is progress in any form. Also, our site manager informs us that it won't be long until the site is up and done so that's something to look foreward to aswell in the near future.

On a diffrent note, I've been thinking alot about the human body latley. It's one of those things that amazes me to be honest. The way that you can cut your arm and then it will scab over and heal. Or the way that people are effected by things like going in the water or fires.

Hmm.

Personally, I've never been a fan of water. I do eventually have to shower or people will stop talking to me but I'm no fan of deep water and ESSPECIALLY not the sea.
The sea is a shitty, scary and wild place.

My friend told me that they have a kind of creature down there that hides itself as a rock, and when you stand on it, it poisons you and can kill you in a minutes. No fancy colours or warnings, oh no, that's too hard for the rockbitch.
No, clearly shit doesn't want you down there and I'm more than happy to comply. I've yet to understand why the sea dominates 2 thirds of the earth. A place inhabited by humans - none gilled creatures.
The really scare shit though, is things that they don't find.
I heard that years ago, the navy were conducting some radar tests, and they found something that was twice the size of a Blue Whale. And incase you don't know how big that is? Look it up. It's late and I'm tired of linking. Or you can take my word that it's pretty fucking big.
Anyway, you COULD say that it was a radar test for a reason, and that people are idiots, which I'll fully agree with by the way, but then again they did another test with Blue Whales where they put trackers on them. They followed them for a few days before loosing any signs of them. Then, they found them via the trackers a week later ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD. Scary stuff. Granted, shit that big can move pretty fast but we all have limits. Even giant, killer, death whales of the blood ocean.

Yes it's that time again.
Today hasn't been altogether that eventful. To be honest after 8 weeks off after my exams it's mostly meshed into two halves. The first half BEFORE I went on holiday to Spain and the part AFTERWARDS where I shit myself for my results that will be coming on the 21st of August.
Excited?
I'm not.

Anyways, as for an update on my life so far, I'm going to be honest. I still haven't finished my Short Story for Deviant Art. For this, I am sorry but will make it up to you later on in this post.
The story I'm writing is basically divided into three parts, and I'm currently halfway through the second part. Still, with all day tomorrow( It's still thursday until I go to sleep. In which case it becomes friday) I MIGHT get it all done and posted on my BRAND NEW DEVIANT ART ACCOUNT in which case I'll be making a post on here to link you to that.

Back to my apology anyway.

Seriously though, I'm a giant fanboy for Ryan Sohmer who writes those comics as well as the ones over at Looking For Group.
To be perfectly honest he's part of the reason I started this blog. He talks on the websites (which he uses as his convieniently placed blogs) about a number of things like feelings and events and sometimes he just expresses his thoughts out loud or makes jokes. But when he does, people laugh and comment and discuss.
Where I come from, you don't particularly get that, even with your friends which is one reason why I haven't linked this blog to any of my online accounts, such as myspace or facebook.

Very few of my friends that I know personally use Deviant Art and the ones that do know well enough not to piss around and send this link out to people that might ruin this blog for me.

SO THEY CAN BE HAPPY CAMPERS WHEN THEY READ THIS.

Don't let it go to your heads, motherfuckers.

I'm a Man of my Word

As well as posting TWO WHOLE DAYS in a row, I've also wrote about a third of my short story and, as for my university stuff?

Anways, I don't know if any of you have checked out my friend Glen's Blog yet, but if you haven't I strongly recommend you do.
He's been one of my friends since I was slightly shorter and chubbier and he'll probably continue to be one at least for the next 2 years when we'll part or until he drives me to the brink in which case he'll be forced to go the way of Old Yeller.
He's slightly more, unique, than me and 'random' is a word that springs to mind when reading his posts, but he's harmless really.
Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Check it out!

Anyway, after reading Glen's latest blog entry, he's reminded me of a few projects that I probably should be telling you about rather than droning on about what I SHOULD or HAVEN'T done.

First off, and probably most importantly, there's Modern Slackers.
Modern Slackers is a webcomic that myself (Scripwriter) and Glen(Artist) are setting up about two teenagers and their journey through life and other mishaps. Seem's quite bland doesn't it? Well, without giving two much away, we won't be working on a fixed time period, which will hopefully allow the comic to stand-out a bit. I'll leave it to you to work out what that means.
Also, it should be noted that the page is being set up by a Mr. Andrew Smith, a good friend of ours who doesn't have a blog but appreciates being credited none the less.

Secondly, I have my Deviant Art page which is yet to come into existance. Basically, I'll be throwing alot of my creative work that way which hasn't got anything to do with Modern Slackers. I would throw in all the scripts I write for the comic, but I doubt that many people will find those interesting. If I do decide to submit them, I'll do it in packs (i.e. 1-25, 25-50, etc) and at a later date.
Anyway, I'm hoping that alot of my creative work that get's submitted there will include short stories or pilot scripts of sitcoms which I'll write. From time to time I might even throw in some art (as I've been 'borrowing' my friends drawing tablet for the better part of a year) although I'm no artist. Still, I have some idea's involving some creative photography and a bit of drawing tablet that might interest people. Also, I have a damn fine photographers camera which I may occasionally use to post pictures. I say 'occasionally' because my computer cannot handle the mad amount of pixels of data when I try to upload them to this computer which means I have to go around to my friend Sam's to 'borrow' his laptop and after the drawing pad incident, it seems his unconditional love and trust have run dry.

Well, that's my explained.

Im aware that I said that I had posted two days in a row, but it seems that when writing this I've ran into wednesday and buggered that up slightly. Nevermind.

Sorry that I haven't really talked about anything particulary interesting, I'll make up for it by posting something later on.

I've been Busy!

Ok, So I know I said that I was going to keep on updating as often as I can and that I would start up a new Deviant Art account so that you lot could see what I've been writing/creating. And I'll admit, I haven't exactly done either of these.

However, in my defence I haven't started up my Deviant Art account, purley because I don't have any work, written or otherwise, that I deem acceptable to be put into it yet. And I haven't updated this blog because I've had little or nothing to say (and no one particularly views this anyway).

Regardless, I WILL start updating more often.

Anyways, now that public apologies are out of the way, I'll change the topic.

With my GCSE results coming up, and thoughts such as 'OH SHIT WHAT IF I FAIL? DO I GO TO COLLEGE? DO I GO TO SIXTH FORM? WHY DOES MY BURNT TOAST LOOK LIKE A MAP VIEW OF THE ALPS? IS THAT A SIGN?' I've stepped back and taken a look at the bigger picture.
What I want to do after these next 2 years are up (sixth form or college regardless) is go and take a BA Course (Bachelors Degree) at University in Screenwriting. I want to do this at a university up near London as that seems to be where it's at (whatever it may be) and i'm sick of Newcastle.
However, I know next to nothing about the London area, what Universitys there are up there or which ones offer BA's in Screenwriting?

It's either find a University up in London that does my course or go to Bristol or somewhere to do the BA and then move on to a MA course (Masters Degree) in London.

Yes thats right.

London is so ridiculous, that I can only find Masters Degree Courses up there but NO BA COURSES EVEN THOUGH YOU NEED THEM FIRST TO MOVE UP TO A MASTERS DEGREE.

Needless to say, I was annoyed and things were broken.

So, if anyone reading this can get back to me with information about this I'd be very thankful, and in return I'll sort out my Deviant Art account for you young scally wags.

Finnally started up a blog, exciting stuff eh?

Well, i'm 16 and after I finish either college or sixth form (haven't decided yet) I'll be looking for a job or going on to university so I should probably have a few things to show of my life.

So, after pondering this as I woke up one morning in a frenzy as the giant moth roughly the size of my fist flew at me after breaking in and hiding last night, I decided I would start with two things.

First, I'd start a blog which after two years might attract some people and be worth something to someone or at least get have enough recognition for me to put it on a C.V.

Second, I'd start another 'Deviant Art' account so I can put some rambles and scribbles of writing down there for similar reasons as to why I've started this blog.

That being said, I may also write down some work over here, or even copy some of these blogs over to the deviant art account to keep people happy.

However, how long I'll continue to write this blog for (and how long that bastard moth can survive in my room without my finding it) remains to be seen.

If anything this might be a fun project, only time will tell.
